Why choice my collection?

I have been in the wedding hair and make-up business for over 15 years now and I know what brides want (I have seen plenty!) and how to correctly place tiaras and the best designs for the hairstyles you and your other bridal party members choose.

My hobby of making tiaras developed as an extension to my hair and make-up business when I began to take them out to my brides who loved them and began to buy them in favour of the wedding shops stock. They are reasonably priced with matching jewellery available for the total look!

Viewing the range

My stock is growing all the time and some samples are out on hire but if you would like to view the range then you will need to contact me for an appointment. If you are local I can always come to you free within 10 mile radius of Windsor. Any travel over that will be charged or you can visit me by appointment. You are not obliged to just have a try!

Pricing

Prices are on the website in order to help you decide at a glance…. No nasty surprises!

Orders

I will need an average (depending on the time of year and crystal availability) of 8 weeks to make item from the range. Commissions will take a longer but we can discuss this at the time. I will need to know the date of your wedding when you place the order to make sure to get it in time. Download the order form and post it to me. Once I receive your order I will confirm it all to you. You have 7 days to change your mind and cancel your order and a full refund will be made.

Commissions

If you like a tiara in the collection but want to add or change a colour or change height etc then we can commission a tiara for you. Prices for this are on application as designs and material costs will vary.

A deposit for the material costs is required for me to begin the tiara which is non refundable but should you not like the tiara once finished then you are not obliged to purchase it.

Upon purchasing a new Tiara/hair ornament/accessory

All new tiaras and accessories are made to a high standard but due to their delicateness are sold as seen. So please check them before taking them home. Damage caused after purchase cannot be the responsibility of Tiara Town (your statutory rights are not affected). See caring for your tiara below for information on storage etc.

Payment for orders

By cash or cheque with bank card (if guarantee amount is less than order total then cash must make up the difference unless cheque clears in time for collection). Sorry no cards they are just too expensive for a small business.

Refunds (other than commissions)

A refund will only be made if on collection or delivery the item is faulty.

Posting

I may mail small samples to you during commissions. Completed tiaras and other items can be posted but I am afraid I cannot take responsibility for any damaged caused to such items in transit. I can arrange registered posting but I will require payment for that from you. Cost will vary due to weight and speed of service.

Collecting/Delivery of completed items.

This is by appointment only. Travel over 10 miles will be subject to a delivery charge.

Hire Details

Hiring a tiara can save you some money! As standard you can collect your tiara from the Thursday * before your wedding and it must be returned by the Wednesday * after your wedding (unless a prior arrangement has been made). You may lose you deposit if the hire terms are not adhered too. Any known damage should be reported at that time. Additional costs will be made if you require your tiara for longer but this must be pre agreed in case of another bride wanting to hire that tiara etc.

Most of the range of tiaras are available to hire. The cost to hire is half the purchase price (unless specified otherwise).Deposit for hiring is the full purchase price of the items which half will be refunded to you if items returned undamaged. Payment of deposits is cash only.

Sorry I do not hire out earrings and other small accessories. You may always purchase these.

In the unlikely event that your chosen tiara comes unavailable for your required date an alternative will be offered at a reduced rate.

Caring for your Tiara or Hair ornament

Although care has been taken during creation these items are very delicate and

must be handled with care.

Some wires are twisted and although can be gently re-positioned they can break so take extra care. Over bending can lead to stems breaking off.

Use of perfumes and hairsprays may cause discolouring and tarnishing. The shine and sparkle of the crystals may be lessened so please bear this in mind when having trials and trying on the items. Store them away from direct sunlight.
